AI scares a lot of people, but what scares me is AI’s potential for generating fast failure. We move faster and faster and skip over the important conflicts that generate the right decisions in the first place. For years we relied on a conflict system that evolved organically and naturally provided the space for the important friction we needed; now we need to design that intentionally. The AI and Conflict Readiness Assessment gives you concrete priorities for building an intentional conflict system that works in today’s world.
How It Works
Conflict System Scan A 20-question survey deployed to your staff (or a representative sample) that reveals how your conflict system is actually functioning across its core dimensions. Respondents answer based on what they actually observe, not what they wish were true. The result is an honest picture of where the system is working and where it’s breaking down.
Interviews Three to six focused conversations with people at different levels and functions. These provide the context and stories behind the survey data — the specific examples that make the findings real, and the AI-related dynamics that the survey alone can’t capture.
AI and Conflict Readiness Report A clear, actionable report tailored to your organization, including:
- An executive summary of your greatest conflict readiness risks and what’s driving them
- Findings across the core dimensions of your conflict system — where it’s strong, where it’s vulnerable, and what that’s costing you given your AI work
- A prioritized playbook of specific action items — concrete plays for strengthening your conflict system and building deliberate friction points where the right conversations need to happen.
The “Getting Ready” Session A two-hour working session with your senior leadership team, built around one question: Where are we not ready for the good fight in the age of AI, and what do we need to do or change that will get us there? The AI and Conflict Readiness Report is shared 48 hours in advance so your team arrives with a point of view. The session combines a discussion of key findings with a facilitated working conversation focused on the action playbook. You leave with shared understanding of your conflict readiness risks, alignment on priorities, and specific next steps to bring your system “up to code” in the context of your AI efforts
