I think you can tell that I’m using the summer to catch up on my reading. Today’s thought comes from the August 2005 issue of Fast Company magazine. They have a short piece on "Business Blogging for Beginners."
Now, I am guessing that the overwhelming majority of my readers (reader?) are bloggers themselves, and already know this stuff, but it seems like a nice link to forward people who are starting out or thinking about blogging for their organization. The five lessons, in short:
Connect people to the blogs you read.
Be yourself.
Be casual, but have some standards.
Blog often. Period.
Have a contingency plan (still not sure what they mean by this one).
