Thanks to EVERYONE who has donated money to support Operation Second Chance, the charity we ride for every year on Ride Allegheny. If you missed it, here's the post where I give the background and also a link to a moving video about the great work OSC does for wounded soldiers.
When I did that post, just three weeks ago, we were at the $25,000 mark in funds raised. Yesterday we crossed the $50,000 mark. That is so awesome, I can't even express. But we're not stopping, so please spread the word, and if you haven't chipped in, please give. It will mean the world to some men and women whose worlds will never be the same.
I drive up to Pittsburgh this afternoon and spend the next four days riding hard. We're even adding about 25 miles to Day 2 to take a detour to visit the Flight 93 memorial near Somerset PA. That will make that day 100 miles (as well as adding some serious hills!). Wish me luck!
