I’ve been at my new job for exactly two months now, so I think it is time to officially announce my secret plan to convert my fellow co-workers into social media evangelists. Okay, maybe not evangelists, but I would at least like to see them taking advantage of the learning, conversing, relating, and fun that happens via social media.

And Friday seemed like the best day to do it. A couple of weeks ago I at least mentioned blogs, and even showed a few co-workers the awesome "Blogs in Plain English" video from Commoncraft. Today I actually walked a few people through the process of subscribing to my blog, so they can see what it’s like (and I told them I’d mention their names here so they can be famous: thanks Angela, Penny, Linda, Kristen, and Katie!).

Thinking next week might be Google Reader.
