I hope you’ve seen the blog post that I wrote last Friday over on the Clarity.fm website. It’s titled “Create a Culture that Drives Success, Not One that Makes You Feel Good.” The founder of Clarity asked me to do a post for them, and I was happy to continue to flesh out my ideas around building stronger cultures. The basic point of the post is that there is no perfect culture where all your employees are happy (despite our admiration for places like Google and Zappos)–culture should be tied to what drives success for the enterprise, and that will change over time, therefore your culture needs to change too.

The site is a collection of experts and entrepreneurs, and you can schedule a call with any one of them, and you pay by the minute. Seriously, if you want to schedule a call with Mark Cuban (owner of the Dallas Mavericks) to pick his brain, you can. Of course, that will cost you $166.77 per minute (not a bad, Mark: $10,000 per hour). The rest of us on the site are “slightly” more affordable! I had my first call the other day. A CEO called to talk about some conflict issues he was having with his COO. In about 15 minutes I was able to give him some high level advice on how to approach the situation.

I really like the concept. Check the site out and if you use it, let me know what you think (and here’s my profile).
