After attending the ASAE and The Center Annual Meeting in Nashville (which, like most people, I liked a lot), I have an important declaration:

the use of the word, "robust" in business is now, in my opinion, officially trite.

It’s too bad, because I’ve used it a few times in the last few months. It’s a good word to try to capture something that is more than what is expected, but we’ll just have to find some new words, because I guarantee people’s eyes will start to glaze over pretty soon if you use it (although I think it still works to describe the flavor of coffee).
