Just got back from the Great Ideas conference in San Diego. It was great fun, as always. Handing out copies of our "We’ve Always Done it That Way" prototype was fun, and I was pleased with the reaction we were getting from people (at least to the title). One person I met said her boss made it clear that there were three things you could say that would get you fired in that organization:
- We’ve always done it that way
- It’s not in my job description
- It’s not in the budget.
