According to the Academy of American Poets, April is national poetry month. This year, for the first time in my life really, I've been writing poetry, and I am finding it quite satisfying. So if you were ever to take a month and experiment with writing that is not necessarily rational, linear, and explicit, now is the time. I'll post some of my poems this month, but for now, here's a leadership haiku:

Welcoming burden
We brace for pain and hardship
While our people lead.
